Build & Make a Bunny Apartment Home of your Choice

I have been compelled to consider this environment as a living space for a bunny. Yes, indeed you may build your new bunny a small apartment all to himself. Be creative and lookup ideas online such as Etsy! I will write down a list of things you will need as well as a great video to give you an idea on how to build it. You will need:
Below are a few ways you can make your bunny his or her new home. Depending on the resources, space and the amount of time you have, your pet's new home can be a great one!

- Bed of your choice
- And of course the necessary material such as food/water bowl and pellets among other toys and Timothy
Below are a few ways you can make your bunny his or her new home. Depending on the resources, space and the amount of time you have, your pet's new home can be a great one!
Automatic Water System
Have you ever thought about getting an automatic water system for your bunny(ies) that not only is efficient but cheaper? I have automatic water systems for all my cages and not only does it save me time in filling them up but they love drinking from it! You can take a vacation without worrying about your bunny not having any water to drink. Not to mention in the summertime the bucket can be filled with icy cold water for the bunny to enjoy! We can build an automatic water system for up to 16 cages. The water system can simply be placed on top or beside the cage depending what kind of cage it is. For the total of $60 you can preorder and take it home in less than 3 days, just inquire within!
Metal Food Dispensers
We have metal food dispensers for $10 that will allow you to feed the bunny every 3-5 days that can be placed in or outside the cage.
Bedding
Tired of buying a lot of bedding? Well you can now make your own! Gather old newspapers that you may have around your home. Once you've found a stack or two, shred the newspaper. Soak them in hot water for 50 minutes. Once you've soaked them up, drain the water completely and rip the shredded newspapers into smaller square-like pieces. When you have them shredded into small squares, soak them up for 5 minutes. Drain the water once again, and this time you're going to grab the shredded newspapers and squeeze the water out of each bunch you grab. Repeat again with soaking the newspaper for 5 minutes once again and draining the water until you start noticing the water becomes clear. Make sure the water is clear and not black because you can harm your bunny if ink is still present. Lastly, let the squeezed balls of newspaper pieces dry and you should have natural newspaper safe bedding! Warning: Do not skip a step or it could be harmful for your pet. Make sure you use hot water at all steps for chemicals to drain out. Good luck and have fun! Newspaper can be replaced with toilet paper instead.
Hay
We have big bags of compressed Orchard Grass/Timothy Hay/Alfalfa for $10.. For the same amount we give you, at a feeds store it will be over $40. Selling upon request.
Controlling Rabbit's Urine Smell
You can use sprays, bedding and especially pelletized bedding used for horse and such. This is great because it will absorb any smell for a really long time that will be unpleasant to you and harmful to your bunny. This breaks down easily and requires a small layer to efficiently work in the litter pan.
Checklist:
1. Cage and Playpen - We suggest you get a self-clean cage with a plastic corner pan so it's easy to clean daily. But any should work to your liking as long as it's cleaned consistently.
2. Food - Even though we provide you with a ziplock of hay and Oxbow Young Rabbit pellets, we tell you to go and be prepared to get enough food for the bunny for at least a month. This is your preference, any food high on fiber without nuts/seeds is optimal and perfect!
3. Hay - We give you very little hay that is good for a week, we can also sell you compressed Hay in a big bag for $10 if it is out of your reach where you reside.
4. Water - I have an automatic water system for all my rabbits, but the 32 oz ball lick water bottles are great because of their efficiency, and it is vital for bunnies to have water at all times.
5. Bedding - We recommend ALL NATURAL soft pine shavings for your bunny's comfort for bedding to be used along with Horse Pelletized Bedding.
6. Potty Training - You may find helpful tips online or simply Youtube to potty train, you can buy the litter pan at PetSmart/PetCo.
7. Tray Droppings - We encourage people to get Pelletize Bedding for the poop tray simply because it's great on odor control. It absorbs the pee and good for poop as well as oppose to putting pine shavings. There's also sprays that can be bought to maintain odor to a minimal level.
8. Food Tray - There is nothing like getting a metal food dispenser for when you have to go on trips, the bunny(ies) will be good for a good week or so.
9. Oatmeal - Oatmeal very sparingly sprinkled over their food can help rabbits regulate their system and can be used as treats.
10. Fixing, grooming, shots - Access to buyers only, inquire within. FREE-$125.
11. Traveler's Cage - Small Plastic Bottom cage is recommended to be purchased for bunnies travelling long distances and far from home for many days to avoid stress.
12. Adjustable Soft Harness - Not required, but can be useful if going to the beach, park or any public area for the bunny to roam freely without the danger of running away.

Potty Training
Potty training should not have to be all that difficult. When you adopt from us, half the time the buns will be potty trained.
