Adoption & Availability
How does reserving a bunny work?
Reserve your bunny with a small online deposit (Stripe) using the button on the bunny’s page. It’s first-come, first-serve—once a reservation is completed, the link closes. The balance is paid in cash at pickup. Appointments are face-to-face in Hayward, CA.
How old are bunnies when they go home?
Typically 8–12 weeks—after they’ve weaned, are eating/drinking on their own, and are ready to transition smoothly.
Can I cancel or change my mind after I reserve?
Please choose carefully. All deposits and payments are final and non-refundable, and swaps aren’t available once a specific bunny is reserved.
Do you sell for breeding or shows?
No. Our bunnies are adopted to loving pet homes only.
Where do pickups happen? Do you ship?
All adoptions are by appointment in Hayward, CA. We don’t offer in-home visits or airline shipping. Local delivery may be possible for a fee—ask us.
Health, Guarantees & Vet CareAre your bunnies healthy at pickup?
Yes. Every bunny is checked and sent home healthy to the best of our knowledge.
Do you offer a health guarantee?
If a bunny experiences a congenital/pre-existing health issue or passes within 7 days of adoption, we offer a replacement bunny of equal value from the next available litter. (No refunds.) We recommend a vet check within 7–14 days of pickup.
Do bunnies need vaccines?
We recommend RHDV2 vaccination where available. (It’s also part of our requirement for extended coverage/eligibility under our policies.) We can share local resources.
What if my bunny passes away during a coverage period (e.g., the Bunny Life Insurance plan)?
We may request reasonable proof of loss (a photo, or vet documentation if available). You can then select a replacement from available bunnies according to your plan.
Temperament, Training & Family FitAre your bunnies socialized or potty-trained?
Babies go home with potty training started and daily handling. Expect a few accidents while they settle in—place a litter box where they choose to go and be consistent.
Which is better—male or female?
Personalities vary. Many families find neutered males especially cuddly; spayed females can be wonderfully affectionate too. Spay/neuter generally improves litter habits and calmness—talk with a rabbit-savvy vet about timing.
Can rabbits learn tricks?
Yes! Gentle, positive reinforcement (clicker + treats) works great for simple tricks and coming when called.
Housing, Diet & Daily CareWhat enclosure do you recommend?
A spacious playpen or large indoor enclosure with a solid floor and room to hop, stretch, eat, and use a litter box. (If you use any wire, add resting mats.)
What should my bunny eat?
Does it smell?
A clean setup won’t. Scoop the litter box daily and refresh hay/water—using paper-based or similar litter helps with odor.
Bonding, Kids & Other PetsCan different breeds live together?
Bonding is about individual personalities, not breed. Pairs usually do best when spayed/neutered and introduced slowly and safely.
Are dwarf bunnies good with children?
Yes—with close adult supervision and gentle handling. Sitting on the floor to hold/pet is safest for small kids.
Indoor or outdoor?
We recommend indoor housing for safety and social time. If outdoors, use predator-proof housing with shade, ventilation, and daily supervision.
Payments & Policies (Quick Answers)Which payments do you accept?
Stripe for deposits via our website buttons; cash at pickup for the balance.
Are deposits refundable if… my child has allergies, my card was used accidentally, plans changed, etc.?
No. All payments are final and non-refundable. Please be certain before reserving.
What if I can’t keep my bunny later on?
You can return your bunny to us (no refunds). We’ll rehome with care, and when possible we appreciate you bringing the enclosure to help us house them immediately.
